Here I am at rock bottom.
By the grace of God I have drawn a small survival circle around myself.
I need wisdom from God about how to distribute limited funds.
In my heart of hearts the divine guidance is the same as it has been for many years.
The only lasting way out of my financial troubles and taking the ministry toward its potential, is getting into the habit of making presentations to major donors.
Been getting ready to meet with a key person on Monday at noon.
God will use her to serve as bookkeeper as well as administrative assistant.

The new lifter arrived at the parts store but Berry, the mechanic, has gone into the hospital for several days testing.
Hopefully the car will be finally fixed next week.
As soon as the car is running then I need to begin making fund raising presentations.
This holiday weekend I hope to launch the Launch Team wiki.
The new wiki will serve as a central update station for intercessors, advisors and donors.
Kindly pray for many blocks of anointed concentration on Saturday and Monday.
May God grant me quality rest this Sunday and every Sunday.

Thankfully there was much progress on fixing the car last week.
I am told that the car will be ready this Thursday.
Also on Thursday a friend will come to my apartment to help me both organize my personal finances and begin to write the proposed budget for the ministry.
Pray for God to grant anointed times to prepare the revised face-to-face presentation.
My hope and faith have been up more than down by the grace of God.
I leaned that in order to view the new wiki a person needed to register and three people did.
Today I will change those permissions and promote it again.

It has been a delight to serve the 24 pastors from around the globe.
Serving them motivated me to create two new blogs a) the Resources Hub http://resourceshub.blogspot.com/ that I recently promoted as the Gateway to the Christian Internet and b) Lessons Hub http://lessonshub.blogspot.com/ that has many of my lessons online but needs more tweaking before I promote it more widely.
After I have made Lessons Hub http://lessonshub.blogspot.com/ looks better maybe God will use it to open doors for me to serve as a substitute Sunday school teacher or speaker at a Christian lunch or breakfast meeting.
I must be very careful to guard my heart least I get distracted in the next few days and weeks.
The neighbor works on my car each week and promises it will be ready soon.
I need to stay focused on preparing the short, sweet and simple presentation of the ministry for donors to share with them as soon as the car is rolling.
The Holy Spirit it leading me in a fresh and new way to prepare by considering the end from the beginning, in other words, imagine that someone just gave a huge donation, what came just before that and before that and before that until I back it up to today.

2. God has used me to connect them with hundreds of books and other resources plus many more are still on the way.
3. We are at the place where we are praying and believing God to provide the money for the shipping and you can join your faith with ours.
4. They want to keep in contact after this is finished so I went to gather links to possible sources and what was an email to them has become a new blog that will be announced very soon.
5. I had been planning to put my lessons online and working with them has motivated me to put these on a new blog that will also be launched very soon.
6. It is wonderful yet sad to hear how much they appreciate the books so I am putting together a blog with suitable links for them that I will share.
7. This has stretched my heart from just concern from those impacted by hurricanes to the millions who long for the truth of the Word of God all over the planet.

1. For about a week I had been struggling to get the concentration to do the research needed to create a simple web site for passive income with the links to resources about the biblical response to the Da Vinci Code.
2. I asked for prayers and WOW God answered in amazing ways in the just last few days.
3. When I finally got online to collect what was available I was amazed at the abundance of materials already there from many recognized experts before the movie was released.
4. While I was collecting links to resources I have read many web pages and begun to understand the complexity of the issues and why an effective response to these matters is so important.
5. This is like the Peal Harbor of the culture wars because behind all the sensationalism is an attack on the reliability of the Bible and deity of Christ.
6. Many millions of people that are not informed of the facts about church history, how the books of the New Testament became accepted as cannon and the many proofs of the deity of Christ will become deceived and in turn deceive others.
7. Pray FERVENTLY for me to have LOTS of anointed concentration to very SOON put what I have found into a decent website for you and others to pray over.

This is an amazing season in my life.
For more than 20 years my thinking had been nonprofit oriented.
I am beginning to think and design for profit models.
They are similar and yet different.
By the grace of God I can see and feel how these systems can work in harmony for others and me.
The many ideas are becoming summary paragraphs.
This coming week those paragraphs will become distilled into key words and diagrams.

1. By the grace of God my prayer life has improved while I am in the car by just praying out loud about what the Holy Spirit brings to my mind.
2. The revised prayer cards are ready for the presentation to the Sunday school class tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
3. The revised CD only needs labels printed and applied for the same presentation.
4. The script for the 10 minute presentation is about half done.
5. I have a rough idea of the second half but need to write it out word for word to help me keep it brief.
6. I need to choose a few of the old PowerPoint slides to share and make a few new ones to keep me on track as I give a brief overview..
7. Pray for God to anoint this and future group presentations.

2. As I explored their web site it seems that this company deals with the kinds of complex challenges that are in my notes, mind and heart.
3. Four Bridges exists to connect the Body of Christ by harnessing the kinds of communication technologies that the business world uses.
4. I have dozens of links to all kinds of powerful online communication tools but this company seems to specialize in how to weave them together.
5. I will contact Information Builders this week to get a bid that I will take to donors.

1. I have been writing a narrative version of the vision of the ministry and I am about three quarters done.
2. This is a compelling description of the best-case scenario of the ministry after we have plenty of experience and funding.

1. I sent an initial email with an overview of the ministry to an executive coach to pave the way for our first meeting soon.
2. I am working on a list of the many goals to be part of the short-term and long-term strategic plan.
3. Three milestones are June 1st the start of hurricane season, September 1st the middle of the season and November 30th the end of the season.
4. I need wisdom and insights form God about what the minimums are to be ready to follow the first hurricane.
5. Also I need divine guidance about what can be anticipated for prayer, preparation and funding after we have followed several hurricanes.
6. On the web there are various secular sites that describe the predicable stages of relief, recovery and rebuilding.

1. THANKS to God I have been making good progress in gathering the names for the face-to-face presentations.
2. Most of the names are friends that I am willing to share practice presentations.
3. Such practice would be good for getting into motion and making improvements.
4. But what I need mostly now is COURAGE to call and set appointments with those I know who can make large donations or can introduce me to them.
5. The most important people to meet with soon are a few elders of the church I am joining.
6. Three important parts of the Quarterly CDs prototype are coming to completion a) Colorful Verses will be promoted tonight, b) Resources for Men will hopefully be promoted early next week and c) the overview of Christian Education will hopefully be promoted before next Saturday.

1. Attended a Christmas party yesterday and one tomorrow of the members of the church I am joining.
2. God is blessing me to quickly make friends.
3. I have verbally described the ministry to a few elders and need to set appointments to show them an overview soon.
4. This week I work on a brief presentation for the quarterly CDs with suitable visual aids.
5. An important part of the presentation is to create a new web site that focuses only on the quarterly CDs and leave the prospective donors with a mock up prototype of the initial CD.
6. The oral surgeon said that the next step in my dental health is to get three teeth crowned.
7. The bottom line again is that I need to face my fears and just set the fund raising appointments.

1. Thanksgiving Day was the first time I participated in the Turkey Trot 3 mile walk and along the way I enjoyed fellowship with members of the church I am joining. www.thetrot.org
2. Also for the first time I ate turkey and the trimmings at Black Eyed Pea with the same church members.
3. I continued my tradition of eating an entire pumpkin pie between midnight and midnight of Thanksgiving Day.
4. I continued my tradition of writing several Thank You cards on that day to those that had especially blessed me the previous year.
5. A neighbor replaced some vacuum hoses and the car is running smother.
6. My central focus is to quickly get on the fund raising trail to raise the 8K needed to launch the first quarterly CD.
7. I am organizing my time, files and paperwork anything else to move me toward that critical fund raising goal.

1. Completed 6 of the 7 hours of presentations for new members at PCPC www.pcpc.org .
2. Those that I attended already were Why PCPC?, Stewardship, Worshiping God, Doctrines of Grace, What is the Gospel?, Missions and Outreach and then on Sunday afternoon it is Things Presbyterian.
3. It was refreshing to hear the gospel so clearly presented and notice how the church is actively committed to taking the Good News to others locally and globally.
4. Again I witnessed how they seek to blend acts of mercy with evangelism and discipleship.
5. They will arrange for me to meet with two elders before joining; so pray for God to bless that whole process.
6. The spark plugs are replaced and the car is running better, and Shebaa says when the oil is replaced most of the remaining roughness will go away.
7. Next week I need to line out a direct path to publishing the first quarterly CD and begin to take action steps.

1. Thank the Lord Jesus that He unexpectedly provided major funds right on time twice recently.
2. One of those times was a short term consulting job that might pan out to be more income in the coming weeks.
3. I have completed the five-page core presentation with cover letters for intercessors, advisors and donors.
4. The present focus is on updating and revising the web site to serve the evacuees and those that are rebuilding www.OurResponse.org
5. The web site will be complete by midnight Monday the 17th and then I will send out a blitz of the cover letters and core presentations by email on Tuesday.
6. Those cover letters and presentation will ask for prayers, suggestions and referrals.

1. Sent out about a dozen invitations for bids for consultants and have begun serious negations with two of them.
2. While talking on the phone long distance with one prospective consultant I was giving a tour of the three main web sites.
3. This interacting with the ministry web sites over the phone could be done with major donors anywhere in the world.
4. The current challenge is to quickly prepare a short, sweet and simple presentation for major donors face-to-face.
5. Getting into the HABIT of going, showing, telling, asking and thanking prospective donors will lead to the 40K needed to launch the web platform during January 2006.
6. The more face-to-face practice I have done then the better I can make the web sites for those prospective donors that are out of town.
7. I believe that the presentation to the president of the seminary will occur soon.

1. Thankfully God used several people to provide cash for my short term needs and a large emergency loan of 12-days to take care of my recent financial crisis.

1. The online Bible study about victory over porn lasts 60 days and they said that day 14 to 30 are the roughest.

2. I am on day 12 and it has been a struggle to apply the verses they brought up - the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak when it comes to in depth sanctification.

3. God has been doing a work deep in my soul and burn out is less of a risk.

4. The creative side of me has come up with many more delightful projects but the challenge is to wisely choose which ones to work on in the short term.

5. A few of the new creative projects are like mortar that brings together various other bricks in the ministry vision.
