February 25, 2006


1. The first prayer card is nearly complete.
2. The first Four Bridges business cards will be ordered soon.
3. Both of the previous items and future communications can use a basic logo.
4. The logo will be created soon as a super simple version of the central diagram on the home page..
5. A few more one-page units will round out the basic presentation of the web site and pave the way for first mock up CD.
6. There have been many intervals of depression and discouragement at the center of my heart.
7. Pray for God to encourage my heart in a variety of ways.

1. At a social event recently God led me to meet a man that is working for Information Builders www.informationbuilders.com
2. As I explored their web site it seems that this company deals with the kinds of complex challenges that are in my notes, mind and heart.
3. Four Bridges exists to connect the Body of Christ by harnessing the kinds of communication technologies that the business world uses.
4. I have dozens of links to all kinds of powerful online communication tools but this company seems to specialize in how to weave them together.
5. I will contact Information Builders this week to get a bid that I will take to donors.
6. This and other developments are prompting me to revise the home page of Four Bridges www.FourBridges.org
7. Now the home page is one diagram with a long essay but pray for it to become a hub of links to various simple summaries that I will promote to advisors and donors.

1. I have been writing a narrative version of the vision of the ministry and I am about three quarters done.
2. This is a compelling description of the best-case scenario of the ministry after we have plenty of experience and funding.
3. I plan to publish the text and audio version of this on the web soon and it will go on the mock up CD.
4. This is a powerful way to communicate the many parts of the ministry by engaging the imagination of the audience.
5. Also I have been making a list of the many goals that will be needed to achieve the vision.
6. That list of goals will be presented on a project management software God led me to recently so that others can see graphically on the web how things can unfold. http://www.projectkickstart.com

1. I sent an initial email with an overview of the ministry to an executive coach to pave the way for our first meeting soon.
2. I am working on a list of the many goals to be part of the short-term and long-term strategic plan.
3. Three milestones are June 1st the start of hurricane season, September 1st the middle of the season and November 30th the end of the season.
4. I need wisdom and insights form God about what the minimums are to be ready to follow the first hurricane.
5. Also I need divine guidance about what can be anticipated for prayer, preparation and funding after we have followed several hurricanes.
6. On the web there are various secular sites that describe the predicable stages of relief, recovery and rebuilding.
7. During the coming months I will study these secular sites to guide seminary students and graduates in preparing materials that are Bible based and Christ honoring.
